A man who indicated he had a gun robbed the TD Bank at 2992 Dixwell Ave. on March 5, according to Hamden Police.
At approximately 4:15p.m., a white male, in his 20s, entered the bank and showed the teller a note that stated that he wanted money and that he was in the possession of a gun, according to police. The man was described as about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, thin to medium build, with brown hair, and wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans, sneakers and a green baseball style hat.
Moments later, the robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, towards the area of 3025 Dixwell Ave., where police conducted a search. No one was injured in the incident.
