The DJ of a holiday party in Woodbridge reportedly dipped his hands hands in a woman's pocketbook and stole gift cards.
He was arrested by warrant after police obtained video surveillance of the DJ cashing in on the gift cards at a store in Hamden.
The 28-year-old DJ, Bryan Poole, of Helen Street in Hamden, was arrested Feb. 24 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. The alleged theft took place at a holiday party on Dec. 14, 2013, police said.
Poole appeared in New Haven Superior Court on March 6. His case is still awaiting a plea; he's scheduled to be back in court on April 3.
According to the state Judicial Branch website, Poole was convicted of second-degree harassment in 2009 (out of Newtown) and second-degree breach of peace in 2010 (out of North Haven).
