Officers investigating found that owner and manager Susan Taylor, 62, of 21 Manila Ave., Woodbridge, used a resident’s debit card to make unauthorized withdrawals totaling $1,200, Smith said.
Taylor also allegedly stole a personal check from a second resident and forged the signature to steal $130 in cash.

Detective John Marks submitted two arrest warrant applications to the court which were subsequently approved, Smith said, and on Dec. 3 Taylor turned herself into police.

Taylor was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 17.
