The suspect reportedly placed a lit cigarette in the gas-tank area of a vehicle and grabbed a 67-year-old woman around the waist, police said. It was when he was taken into custody for those complaints that police discovered the elderly man, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, had been assaulted.

A City of Milford employee was arrested this week on charges that he was operating a drug factory.
