Shocking: Former CT Paramedic Faces Sentencing Over Sexual Assault in an Ambulance
The 22-year-old victim was unconscious
In a shocking crime, a former 51-year-old paramedic from North Haven is scheduled to be sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison Tuesday for sexually assaulting a drunk unconscious woman in an ambulance in Hamden.
Mark Powell, 51, is scheduled to be sentenced in Superior Court, New Haven Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault, the New Haven Register reports via the Associated Press.
Powell responded to a party in Hamden early Christmas morning in 2011 where a 22-year-old woman fell and hit her head while dancing.
