Trio Faces Hamden Drug Charges


A Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team drug investigation has led to the arrests of three suspects.

The March 10 arrests were made in the parking lot of a Dixwell Avenue restaurant, according to a police report, and involved the confiscation of several bags of suspected narcotics.

Police arrested Theodore Jones Jr., 32, of 14 Bagley Ave., Hamden on charges of Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell. Jones. He was held at police headquarters on a $75,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear March 21 in court in Meriden.

While searching Jones’ vehicle, officers seized 19 bags of crack cocaine, 11 bags of cocaine and five bags of heroin, police said in a statement. 

Police also arrested Richard Kaczynski, 36, of 10 Helen Rd., Branford and Todd Hallock, 38, of 324 Thompson St., East Haven. They were charged with criminal attempt to possess narcotics. Hallock also was charged on two arrest warrants from New Haven.
