Two New Officers Join Hamden PD

The two new officers come with experience from area departments and start training this week.

The Hamden Police Department swore in two new police officers Thursday.

Both of the new officers are certified and have previous law enforcement experience. Officer Kelley Groleau served with the Orange Police Department for more than five years, while Enrique Rivera-Rodriguez served with the New Haven Police Department for almost six years.

Both officers will enter the field training program this week and are expected to be available for independent assignments in the very near future.
