Chamber Mayoral Debate Thursday; Last Week's Debate on TV

Miss last week's mayoral debate? There's plenty of chances to catch it on television before the election, and the candidates will meet again Thursday.

Citizens Television Government Channel 96 will air last week's mayoral debate featuring Charles Baltayan (I), Matthew Corcoran (R), and Scott Jackson (D), speaking on space and sustainability in the town of Hamden.

Air dates include Saturdays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.; Sundays, Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 at 8 p.m., and Wednesdays, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

The Hamden-North Haven League of Women Voters and Hamden Land Trust Alliance sponsored the debate, which was attended by close to 100 people at the Thornton Wilder Auditorium in the Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave. on Oct. 18. The debate moderator was Ray Andrewsen of WQUN.
