The Department of Motor Vehicles is branching into social media as a way to spread teen safe-driving safety messages to teens and others.
The YouTube channel showcases winners from the DMV’s annual statewide teen safe driving video contest for high school students.
In addition, DMV also has a general Twitter outreach to announce teen driving messages as well as other updates regarding the agency’s services to the public.
“More and more people, especially teenagers, turn to these popular social media sites for information and to communicate with each other,” DMV Commissioner Melody A. Currey said.
