Fines Forgiveness Days at Hamden Libraries

Return your overdue items with a non-perishable food item and all is forgiven.

The Hamden Public Library announces Fines Forgiveness Days Nov. 13-16 (Tuesday through Friday).

All three library locations -- Miller Memorial Central Library, 2901 Dixwell Ave., Whitneyville Branch, 125 Carleton St. and the Brundage Community Branch at 91 Circular Ave. -- will forgive fines for each overdue item that is returned accompanied by an item of non-perishable food to be distributed to Hamden families through
the Hamden Food Bank during the holiday season.

There is no limit on the number of items that may be returned or the total amount of fines that will be forgiven. However, Fines Forgiveness will apply only to overdue fines on items that are returned during the four day period. Collection fees and other charges will not be waived.

For further information, call the Miller Library Circulation Department at 203 287-2682.
