Two Hamden organizations were awarded a total of $196,656 in funding for several projects under the state 2014 Nonprofit Grant Program.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Thursday that 146 projects with 84 organizations have been selected to receive a total of $20 million in awards.
Opportunity House, Inc in Hamden was awarded $79,656 for vehicles and The Children's Center of Hamden, Inc will receive a $117,000 grant for site improvements.
