Hamden Traffic Calming Presentation Monday

This time it's for the East Side, Ridge Hill, Wintergreen and Hamden Plains neighborhoods of Hamden.

Fitzgerald and Halliday Inc. of Hartford will present a traffic calming and traffic safety plan for the East Side, Ridge Hill, Wintergreen and Hamden Plains neighborhoods of Hamden on Monday, Nov.18.

The presentation will be held at the Miller Senior Center in the library complex. It is open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m.  The presentation will include a review of the plan’s recommendations.

In June, the firm held a workshop that included the initial findings of the study of the areas. It also offered an online survey for residents to fill out regarding traffic concerns.

The mayor and the Legislative Council has identified traffic calming as one of the greatest concerns of residents and has allocated the funds for the studies.
