Jackson for Hamden Hosts "Coffee with the Mayor" Wednesday

Jackson for Hamden will host its third evening in the series weekly “Coffee with the Mayor” or “Pizza with the Mayor” events on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Three Brothers Diner, 1038 Dixwell Ave.  Hamden.

Mayor Scott D. Jackson designed these events to allow citizens to meet with him, ask questions, raise concerns and discuss important issues.

The event is free to the public and coffee and treats will be served to participants.

“I’m hosting these events in neighborhoods throughout town to create a relaxed atmosphere where residents can come in a more informal way to talk about issues  important to them,” Jackson said.  “The first two events we held have been exceptional, with residents coming together as a community to talk about our town.”

The Jackson for Hamden committee kindly asks residents and associations to please pass the word along to your neighbors, family and friends when these events are scheduled in your area so the Mayor can listen to as many voices as possible and also share his vision for  Hamden.
