Meet Jasper, a small adult Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix.
Jasper has been completely misunderstood for most of his life. He has been with us for a couple of years now, has been in a foster home and back again.
In the beginning he was brought here by a couple that no longer wanted him... he was "just too much " and "would not shut up." Having never met the dog, he looked calm enough, young enough...then we tested him with some things ...
We found out that he must have been abused since he hated the man that brought him in initially...then again he is afraid of mops, brooms , hoses, anything that you carry and push or pull.
He is also very afraid of hats, hoodies, bicycles, and objects that move too fast. A calm person and quiet home is needed... absolutely no children of any age... no other dogs.. no cats.... he needs to be the one and only.. the dog you will take that chance of loving... the dog that needs your love the most..
His postive points are also many.. he loves to walk, run., play and have fun! He has been very socialized here but would rather be by himself in a home.. on a bed, by your side...
