Recycle Electronics at the Hamden Transfer Station

This month is the biannual Bulk Pickup, but don't put out electronics.

Residents of Hamden may recycle free of charge all electronics at the Hamden Transfer Station, 231 Wintergreen Avenue in Hamden. Hours are M-F from 7:30am-3:00pm and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 8:00am-11:45am. Electronics are not accepted during the Town's curbside bulk collection in April and October.

Acceptable electronics for recycling include but are not limited to: personal computers, monitors, televisions, keyboard, mouse, peripherals, scanners, fax machines, desktop printers, VCRs, laptops, game systems, stereos, speakers, cell phones, CD players, DVD players, remote controls, answering machines, camcorders, pagers, telephones, two-way radios, electric typewriters, tape players, PDAs, digital cameras.
