Applications Accepted for Wintergreen Magnet
A lottery will decide which students will be able to attend the magnet school on Wintergreen Avenue.
Applications are now being accepted for students who are Hamden residents wishing to attend the Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School for the 2013-2014 school year.
Applications are available on the Hamden Public Schools website and in all elementary schools, Hamden Middle School, Wintergreen Magnet School, Government Center, Miller Library and Central Office, which is located at 60 Putnam Ave.
The majority of students selected through the lottery process will be at the kindergarten level. There will be limited openings in grades 1-7. No applicationswill be accepted for grade 8.
