In the spirit of global citizenry and awareness of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the Hamden Hall community is conducting a school-wide commemorative assembly in the courtyard. Students will observe a moment of silence followed by a poetry reading and choral presentation. A Japanese maple will be planted on campus for a more permanent reminder of the devastation encountered by the Japanese people.
