"Exemplary" HHS Students Honored

Received CAPPS awards at Nov 14 ceremony.

Eight Hamden High School students recently were presented with the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPPS) Award.

Supt. of Schools Fran Rabinowitz described these students as "exemplary" and explained the factors for this very competitive and prestigious award to be academic achievement, leadership skills and caring about and giving back to the community.

The winners were Jaquan Dease, Michelle DeLeon, Ivana Gutierrez, Maya Jackson, Max Moran, Allegra Nottoli, Morgan Simko and Mark Vannoorbeeck.
