“The Season of Song” will feature traditional Victorian Carollers and Hamden Hall’s premier madrigalsingers, “The Twilight Tones,” performing a selection of medleys designed to highlight the magical season. Several soloists will also regale the audience in addition to a piece by the Hamden Hall Music Department’s version of the Canadian tenors performing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

“Vocalists will offer everything from ‘Ave Maria’ to the balcony duet, ‘Tonight’ from 'West Side Story,'" said Upper School Music Director Dr. Lou Negri. “Our fabulous string ensemble will also offer Bach’s ‘Cantata 159,’ not to mention that the program will open with traditional carols being sung by vocalists dressed in Victorian costume.”
