Hamden Hall Country Day School students raised nearly $300 during two recent basketball games to purchase hats for terminally ill children at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Smilow Cancer Center.

Senior Molly Teplitzky of Woodbridge, sophomore Sara Bennett of Hamden and freshman Doria Weiss of Orange baked cookies and set up a donation table at two recent Hamden Hall boys’ varsity basketball games at the Beckerman Athletic Center.
