Hamden Students Win at State DECA Competition

Students from Hamden High School DECA took home awards in the recent Connecticut DECA state competition.

Nearly 1,000 high school students from throughout Connecticut competed in approximately 40 marketing related events at the 2013 Connecticut DECA Career Development Conference that was held on Feb. 27 at the Aqua Turf in Southington.

Students that placed first, second or third in state competition qualify to represent Connecticut at the 2013 DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California in April. More than 15,000 students from around the world will compete in Anaheim.
