Langlois' first goal of the game came just 5:34 into the first period when he lifted the stick of a Princeton skater deep in the Tigers' defensize zone and stole the puck. Langlois toe-dragged across the crease and then went to the backhand to deposit his ninth goal of the season. It proved to be the only scoring for a majority of the period until the final minute of play.

With 58 seconds remaining in the first frame, Goodman scored his fifth goal of the year to match his career best, with assists going to linemates Harvey and Langlois. Langlois fired a shot on goal from the face-off circle that was kicked away by Princeton goalie Mike Condon. Harvey attempted a shot off a rebound but it was knocked away to Goodman in the slot who one-timed a shot past Condon to give Quinnipiac a two-goal lead. The goal proved to be Goodman's team-best fourth game-winning goal of the season, making him one of three players in the country with at least four game-winning goals to date.

Late in the second period, Princeton got on the board on a goal by Eric Carlson, with an assist credited to Tom Kroshus to pull the Tigers within a goal, 2-1. Quinnipiac managed to battle through the end of the second and most of the third before Langlois scored on an empty net to put the game out of reach with 38-seconds remaining in regulation.

The Bobcats head to Princeton, N.J. on Saturday, Dec. 8 to face the Tigers in an ECAC Hockey match-up at Hobey Baker Rink at 4 p.m. The Bobcats remain idle until the final weekend of December when it hosts Nebraska-Omaha on Dec. 29-30 at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center.
