Quinnipiac answered midway through the period when Tolkinen dropped a pass off from the face-off circle to Peca on the goal line. Peca fired the puck to Langlois who was streaking in front of the Engineers’ goal. Langlois one-timed a laser over the opposite shoulder of RPI’s Bryce Merriam to tie the game, 1-1, with half the second period to play.

The goal was Langlois’ team-leading 11th of the season and 54th of his career, moving past Bryan Leitch ’09 for the 8th most career goals in Quinnipiac’s Division I history and 15th all-time.

Quinnipiac is back in action on Saturday, Jan. 12 when it hosts No. 16 Union at 7 p.m. at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center.
