Run for the Roses at SHA
The school's annual auction features items such as vacations and Yankees, Giant and Red Sox tickets.
The Sacred Heart Academy Auction committee is putting the finishing touches on the “The Run for the Roses – Celebrating the Kentucky Derby” fundraising event which will be held March 24.
Auctioneer Eric Hummel will get the bidding going for condos in Cabo, Siesta Key and Aruba, Yankees, Giants and Red Sox tickets, fine art, jewelry, catered dinners, antiques, electronics and much, much more.
Co-chairs of the Auction, Pat and Terry Bowman of Cheshire, are spearheading the event and overseeing a committee of sixty volunteers. A 2012 Nissan Versa will be raffled during in the evening as well.
