St. Rita School Girls Enjoy Stellar Seasons
The varsity and junior varsity basketball teams were both undefeated and are heading to tournament action in Boston next month.
The St. Rita School Girls’ Varsity and Girl’s Junior Varsity basketball teams both went undefeated during the Greater New Haven Parochial League and also won their respective league division championships.
Their league championship earned them the number one seed coming out of New Haven for the Archdiocese of Hartford State Playoffs.
Both teams defeated three teams over two weekends to win the Archdiocese of Hartford tournament. They both have now earned a spot in the New England CYO Regional Basketball Tournament held in Boston April 5-7.

The GV team is coached by Cindy Brennan, Bernie Brennan and Dominick Mastriano. The GJV Team is coached by Cindy Brennan, Gary Austin and Bernie Brennan.
