Superintendent: No School Wednesday

Schools will again be closed on Wednesday due to Hurricane Sandy.

 

Supt. of Schools Fran Rabinowitz said today that school will again be cancelled for Wednesday, Oct. 31 due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The town is still in the process of cleaning up after the storm and a number of roads are still closed due to trees down and utility poles in the roads.

In addition, 6,753 homes in Hamden are still without power as of 2:45 p.m.
