"Zombie Love" at Hamden Middle School

The Department of Fine Arts and Hamden Middle School's Stage One will present the comedy on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16.

The Department of Fine Arts and Hamden Middle School's Stage One will present the comedy Zombie Love by Katelyn Beyke on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.

A high-strung high school student is directing a new play (Zombie Love) at her school,but nothing is going right. Actors are arriving late or failing to show up at all. The costumer knows nothing about fashion. The extras are upstaging the leads, and the assistant is secretly in love with her boyfriend.

To make matters worse, a jewel thief andt he police officers who pursue him are mistaken for extras and cause havoc during the dress rehearsal. Of course, everything works out in the end, because the show must go on.

Zombie Love is directed by Tim Brown and features HMS students, Kayla Johnson, Aysia Comins-Sporbert, Connor Brandi, Alex Blair, Rachel Baumann, Edward Lorsin, Sean Humble, Michael DeAngelis, Erica Cathey, Alex White, Mia Laguna, Tevin Gardner, Isabel Marchand, Nina Allison, Amy Nicefaro, Jeremy McHale, Piero Cifarelli, Brendan Randall, Maddie Smith, Kaori Miller and Dylan Dwyer.
