L.A. Kings' Goalie Jonathan Quick Stirs Hamden Hockey Fans

Quick, who learned hockey at Hamden High School, has been pivotal to the Kings' victories.

The role of LA Kings’ goalie Jonathan Quick, who learned to play hockey in , has focused Connecticut hockey fans’ attention on him as the Kings take on the New Jersey Devils in the NHL Stanley Cup finals.

In a story by WTNH Channel 8, TV reporter John Pierson interviewed Quick following the first game of the finals Wednesday, which put the Kings up 1-0 in the best of seven series. Quick held the Devils to one goal in that game.

The second game of the finals is scheduled for Saturday night at 8 p.m. in New Jersey.
