NHL Stanley Cup and Hockey Hero Return to Hamden

Jonathan Quick is in Hamden until 2 p.m. today.

Los Angeles Kings Goalie Jonathan Quick, who grew up in Hamden, returned with the NHL Stanley Cup trophy on Sunday.
Quick is making the cup available for families of the Hamden Youth Hockey Association and invited guests to see today until 2 p.m. It is not open to the general public.
The trophy and Quick will be at the Louis Astorino Ice Arena from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday.
It will cost adults $20 to get their picture taken with the Stanley Cup and $10 for children, but all of the funds raised will go to the college fund for the children of Jason Pagni, who was Quick's close friend and youth coach who died earlier this year, the New Haven Register reports.
