QU Hockey Captains Featured in Sports Illustrated

The two, who happen to be twin brothers, are included in SI's "Faces in the Crowd" feature.

Quinnipiac men's ice hockey senior assistant captains Connor and Kellen Jones were recently featured in "Faces In The Crowd" in the Dec. 16, 2013 issue of Sports Illustrated.

The Jones Bros. join former men's soccer Graciano Brito as well as former men's ice hockey goalie Eric Hartzell and women's ice hockey stand-out Kelly Babstock as Quinnipiac student-athletes honored by Sports Illustrated.

The twin brothers from Montrose, British Columbia were recognized when they became just the fifth set of brothers, who played for four seasons together, to reach the 100 career point mark. Connor, to date, has 40 goals and 72 assists for 112 points in 132 games while Kellen has tallied 44 goals and 64 assists for 108 points in 136 career games. This season, Kellen has scored nine goals and assisted on 14 more for 23 points while Connor's team-leading 15 assists paired with six goals give him 21 points for the year.
