"Back-to-back games is always difficult and I thought we struggled in the first half," CFC Azul head coach David Kelly said. "We struggled to get momentum, we struggled to get chances...so we spoke about that at halftime. We made a couple of changes and I thought we were very good in the second half."

A big factor in the teams' offensive dominance this weekend was the emersion of a secondary as well as a third scoring option. While former New England Rev Ryan Kinne has stayed hot, Markus Naglestad, Sony Narro and Mario Di Miceli have begun to find their touch. Naglestad and Di Miceli earned their first starts of the season tonight after they both had stellar performances last night being involved in the teams' final four goals. Naglestad had a goal and three assists in the games final 35 minutes as Di Miceli scored two goals in last nights win.

Kinne, who added another pair of goals tonight, got the Azul wheels turning again in the 53rd minute by beating Vermont goalie Amir Pasic on a play that appeared to be a defensive lapse turned into an offensive opportunity.

Narro, who came in at halftime added to the Azul lead on a pass from Naglestad to make it a 2-0 lead. From then on out, it was all CFC as the Voltage couldn't get anything going. Fans were rewarded for sitting thru the rainy first half with the second half offensive outburst. CFC finished the game with 20 shots, 15 that came in the second half. Vermont only had nine shots in the game.

Kinne added another insurance goal in the 84th minute and Conor Doyle got in on the action in stoppage time, scoring his first goal of the season and sealing the game at 4-0.

After Saturday's performance, Kinne is now tied for first in the country in points (13) and goals (6).

CFC will play host to GPS Portland next week on June 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Tunxis Mead Park in Farmington.
