Connecticuters can feel spoilt for choice when it comes to nearby beaches to wile away a lazy summer’s afternoon (or build the greatest castle sand has ever known, of course).

Though I normally teach government, I can teach a bit of geography. You might want to check the little line that separates Rhode Island and Connecticut. Which side is Misquamicut on?

Is "spoilt" a word? Eleanor Stanford where did you go to school? Also Napatree is in RI too.

actually, "spoilt" was a dead give away as that is a real word -- in actual real English, as in from England. so I'm guessing the writer of this article is from England, also helping to explain the geography error.
