Hamden Elks Hand Out Flags at North Haven Parade
Hamden's Memorial Day parade was rained out, but last week the Hamden Elks Club was at North Haven's celebration.
Though Hamden's Memorial Day parade was cancelled Monday due to thunderstorms, members of Hamden Elks Lodge #2224, serving Hamden and North Haven, participated in the North Haven Memorial Day Parade last week.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks promote Americanism, Veterans, Youth Activities and Drug Awareness Programs within our communities. Hamden Lodge members handed out approximately 1,000 American flags to spectators along the parade route in North Haven.
