This Week in Hamden: Hamden Symphony Orchestra Concert Thursday

Tot Shabbat, Holiday Concert scheduled for this week, as well as a Solarize Hamden Q&A where you can learn about solarizing your home.

Monday, Dec. 16:

The Civil Service Commission meets at 9 a.m. at the Hamden Government Center in the Town Attorney's Conference Room.

The Town Center Park Commission meets at 10 a.m. in the Main Floor Conference Room at the Hamden Government Center.

The Energy Use and Climate Change Commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Main Floor Conference Room at Hamden Government Center.

Tuesday, Dec. 17:

Solarize Hamden Q&A: 6 p.m. at the Hamden Government Center: 2750 Third Floor Conference Room. Join us learn more about Solarize Hamden and ask one-on-one questions with C-TEC, Hamden’s chosen installer. Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, Dec. 18:

Hamden Legislative Council special meeting, 7 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium at Miller Library.

The Historic Properties Commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Parks and Recreation Department at Hamden Government Center.

Thursday, Dec. 19:

The Hamden Symphony Orchestra, lead by Music Director Vesna Mehinovic, 
presents a Holiday Concert featuring Mary Tokarski, accordion and students from Hamden High School and Hamden Middle School.  The concert is at 7 p.m. at Hamden High School and is free.

Friday, Dec. 20:

Families with children ages 6 and under are invited to a Tot Shabbat on Friday, December 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Road. Tot Shabbats are open to the community and are a wonderful way for families to get to know each other and enjoy an evening of blessings, stories, food and fun.
