The new year brings lots of activity in Hamden government.



Monday, Jan. 6:


The Hamden Heronettes Synchronized Swim Team will host two TRY-SYNCHRO events tonight and Wednesday from 5:45-6:45 p.m. at the Hamden High School pool. For more information, click here.

The Legislative Council holds its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Memorial Town Hall. It will hold a special committee meeting at 6:50 p.m. before the regular meeting.

Tuesday, Jan. 7:

The Farmington Canal Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in the third floor conference room, Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Ave.

The Veteran's Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. in the Senior Activity Room at the Miller Library Complex.

Wednesday, Jan. 8:

The Community Development Citizen's Advisory Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Keefe Community Center.

The Hamden Traffic Authority meets at 6 p.m. in the Miller Library Complex Activity Room.

The Hamden Police Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Miller Library Complex Activity Room.

The Solid Waste & Recycling Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Hamden Government Center Parks & Recreation Conference Room Main Floor, 2750 Dixwell Ave.

Thursday, Jan. 9:

Learn more about Solarize Hamden, meet the town’s chosen installer, C-TEC Solar, and discover if solar would be a good fit for your home tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Miller Library's Thornton Wilder Auditorium, 2901 Dixwell Ave.

The Hamden Housing Authority meets at 5 p.m. at Housing Authority’s office, 51 Worth Ave.  

The Human Rights & Human Relations Commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Recreation’s Office conference room at the Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Ave.
