There are very few "accidents" - most accidents are the result of a series of failures or coincidences that align to cause an event. What could be contributing to this event? Foreign steel in the rails, broken ties, broken axles on the new cars, lack of maintenance, a broken spring on the car allowing it to sway beyond design limits, etc. If you assume accidents "just happen" then why did you not assume that Newtown was "just an accident"?
Sounds like you are setting the stage for an early finding of a predetermined result for the investigation - just sayin....
