This my friends will be an introduction of "COMMON CORE". Common Core is data mining, andRead More using our children as lab rats. Here is a brief description of that Common Core is: DOE released a report as part of its common core standards that included technology to monitor students in the name of developing best teaching practices that could promote "GRIT,TENACITY, AND PERSERVERANCE." Behavior task performance measures are the broad set of methods used to capture behavior consistent with perseverance or lack thereof, and in many cases associated emotional experiences, physical movements or facial expressions, physiological responses, and thoughts-- that students do in response to a particular challenge, the report said. Wanting to understand a student's response in a time of stress, the dept. report went on to state its desire to analyze various metrics, including facial expression, brain waves patterns, heart rate, posture and eye tracking using facial recognition cameras, posture analysis seats, pressure mouse, and wireless skin conductance sensor ( worn around the wrist). Sensors provide constant, parallel streams of data and are used with data mining techniques and self report measures to examine frustration, motivation/flow, confidence, boredom and fatigue, the report said. GOOD LUCK - You need to get this out of CT. Ohio, TX so far did.

Did you see that the EU is now regulating SEEDS. Yep, this is bad folks. It's all part of Agenda 21Read More Sustainable Development and Hamden was signed on to this radical environmental program in 2003 by Henrici. Wise up. Keep voting against your best interest. The next generation will pay the price for our mis-steps. Your kids and mine and our grandchildren. NO freedom, NO liberty, Just unelected beaurocrats i.e. Christine LaGrande - head of IMF-making decisions which affect you and me. Think about that. You must start paying attention.

Upgrades to the municipal building in Hamden including CCSC is all done thru ICLEI.Read More "International" Council for "LOCAL" Environmental Initiatives. Lets get this straight- An International organization based in Germany is setting the guidelines for our local gov, legislative council to implement. Yep, AND WE'RE PAYING. WE are also paying for this traffic calming which is part of the UN's Agenda 21 which ICLEI is part of their grand plan. You should research this and find out just what this is all about. There is a book called Democrats Against Agenda 21. If the Democrats are against it - it must be BAD. It's about YOUR property rights, where you live, how much energy you use ( smart meters) all that good stuff. It's all for CONTROL. Read it learn about it and then be against it.

How much was the grant/slush/bribery fund the state just forced the community college system toRead More spend on pointless and expensive upgrades to buildings and machinery while cutting instructors and classes? Just curious. Because state money is state money, and NVCC alone didn't seem to desperately need 2-3 million in new machines.

GNAC Vouchers and opening the schools for a pay as you go system would solve a lot of the problems,Read More for the Students and Parents that is. You of course won't ever see it happening because that would force those schools who just suck up the monies and don't provide any better education or security for the kids make their voucher quota. They might have to step it up and compete for the voucher money. Why do that when they can do as little as possible and get town, state, and federal monies? America no longer values education. It values the give me system, the system of entitlement that currently even your President seems to value!!

Decriminalize? I can shop at any grocery store in the State - but I am limited to where my kids canRead More go to school? I can eat at any franchise I choose, but I have to send my kids to the designated indoctrination center? Vouchers - give the kids vouchers - the money will follow the students. The schools that fail to perform will find themselves underfunded and out of business. Ideas will flow and ultimately, our kids will be better off. Of course, in this situation - kids will really come first. It will not be the protection of adminstrative jobs and union members security - it will be the kids. Those in favor of the unions can keep sending their kids to the failing schools - it will be their choice. Choice is good (abortion, political party, guns - oh not so much anymore since nanny state knows better, and schools too).
