The scenic campus lies adjacent to Sleeping Giant Mountain, and boasts a host of athletic facilities, including the 185,000 square-foot TD Banknorth Sports Center where the college's men's and women's ice hockey and basketball teams compete. Quinnipiac is in the process of expanding to two new campuses, the 250-acre York Hill Campus located roughly a mile away from the main quad and home to the first major wind farm incorporated into an American university, and the North Haven Graduate Campus, which began housing the school's numerous graduate programs in 2010. The Quinnipiac University School of Law opened in 1995, shortly after the closing of the University of Bridgeport's…More law school. Located on the Quinnipiac University Mount Carmel campus and one of more than 50 buildings there, the School of Law features a mock courtroom where students can experience first hand the courtroom experience. The Grand Courtroom has hosted the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts and is also used as a lecture hall.
The school also boasts a 50,000 square-foot, two-story law library with more than 425,000 volumes.
The school offers juris doctor (JD) degrees, a joint JD/MBA degree, an LLM in health law and a certificate program in health care compliance.
