Nick Di Maria, Neighbor

Trumpeter Nick Di Maria is a New Haven based jazz musician who has been leading his own band since 2006. A native of Cheshire, CT he studied at WCSU and under the guidance of jazz guru Dr. Eddie Henderson. Di Maria's band has played hundreds of shows all over the Northeast and New York City. The band just completed two new albums that will be released this Fall, the live album "The Nick Di Maria Quintet Live at the Outer Space" and studio release "The Beatnik."
Since December of 2011, Nick has been running a weekly Jazz Series at the Outer Space club in Hamden, CT. Its a weekly event devoted to showcasing jazz music from near and far.
