Board of Directors Revokes BBB Accreditation from Four Connecticut Businesses

Better Business Bureau monitors accreditation activity, and when necessary, makes recommendations to the BBB Board of Directors to expel companies that have violated BBB Accreditation Standards.

On June 19, 2013, the Connecticut BBB Board of Directors voted to approve the revocation of Better Business Bureau accreditation of four businesses for failing to maintain BBB Accreditation Standards. 

Green-Seal Insulation: The Bethel-based company failed to meet BBB Standards because they did not respond to a consumer complaint in a timely and professional manner.

Danbury Overhead Door: This company failed to have and/or provide a copy of the proper required licensing/registration for their line of business in the State of Connecticut.

Ace Cabinet Company: The company, located in New Britain, failed to have and/or provide a copy of the proper required licensing/registration for their line of business in the State of Connecticut.

Connecticut Valley Landscaping: This Somersville-based company failed to have and/or provide a copy of the proper required licensing/registration for their line of business in the State of Connecticut.

Better Business Bureau works to create and maintain a marketplace where buyers and sellers share mutual trust. 

To maintain confidence in the BBB name, Better Business Bureau monitors accreditation activity, and when necessary, makes recommendations to the BBB Board of Directors to expel companies that have violated BBB Accreditation Standards.
