Legislative Council At-Large: Republican Austin Cesare

Part of a Patch series on the candidates running for office in Hamden this November.

My name is Austin Cesare and I am running for re-election to the Hamden Legislative Council.

Hamden is at a crossroads. We need to elect new voices to town government and restore party balance to our Legislative Council. I believe I have the necessary experience to continue to fight for the residents of our town.

I have served on the Board of Education for six years, and the Legislative Council for the last two years. I am currently elected as the Legislative Council Minority Leader and serve on every Council committee. During this time I have been an advocate for responsible spending, stabilizing taxes, and greater economic development opportunities.

If I am fortunate to be re-elected, I will continue to fight for residents and offer my constituents the highest level of representation that they deserve. Vote Row A" on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
