The Friends of Brooksvale Park NEW Animal Barn will be dedicated at High Noon during the 14th Annual Brooksvale Fall Festival. Due to many, many generous donations from members, friends and supporters, $95,000.00 was raised and the barn was built! Thanks will go out to the Friends, Hamden's Department of Arts, Recreation & Culture, Hamden Public Works Dept. and the Mayor's Office and to many individuals and businesses. After a brief recognition of this HUGE effort you are invited to take a closer look. The animals will be around too! You will also have a chance to make a donation and WIN a beautiful hand built birdhouse made by FOB supporter Pete Laffin. Donations are being accepted for the barn fund as it needs to still be painted and the animals of course need a few amenities not previously provided.
